As a trusted advisor, Adam helps clients manage every part of their life that involves a dollar sign: investment portfolios, tax strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, education planning, and insurance decisions. He brings a truly comprehensive approach to this process, knowing that a “big picture” perspective is the best way to help people feel confident about their wealth and live fuller lives. Fundamentally, this desire to help people live more confidently, knowing their wealth is being managed, is what drives Adam’s work.

A Wealth Advisor at SWP, he is privileged to serve a wide variety of clients, each with distinct financial resources, opportunities, and goals. And as a member of Chicago’s LGBTQ+ community, he brings a unique understanding to the table when working with individuals and families from across the LGBTQ+ spectrum.

Before joining SWP, Adam was an Associate at Gresham Partners where he provided ultra-high-net-worth clients with comprehensive financial planning and tax guidance. Prior to that, he was a Senior Financial Planner at Balasa Dinverno Foltz LLC, where he helped individuals and families navigate complex planning challenges. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an active member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council.

Adam received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Finance, Investments, Banking, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Wisconsin. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his husband, friends, and family, exploring Chicago’s music scene, cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers, and fishing.

As I write this, my fiancé Joe and I are navigating a series of major financial and life events. From a financial perspective, life is all about working towards multiple goals at the same time. For starters, we are planning our wedding in Mexico City in November . At the same time, we are also working through the process of starting a family through surrogacy. And if that wasn’t enough, we are also planning to buy a new house. Working toward these goals (while continuing to save for retirement) has required a lot of careful planning and disciplined saving.
