In his role as a wealth analyst, Merrick works directly with SWP wealth advisors to help deliver exceptional value to clients. Merrick’s primary focus is on investment management and portfolio maintenance. He prides himself on building relationships with clients and helping clients with all their needs.

Merrick’s interest in investments and the stock market began when he received stock as a 15^th birthday gift. His knowledge of the stock market was limited at that time, but the gift spurred him to research the markets. This led him to his passion for working in the financial services industry and helping clients.

Prior to joining the firm, he spent three years at Merrill Lynch, where he served as a Registered Client Associate. He graduated from Indiana University in 2017 with degrees in Economics and Business.

Merrick grew up in Buffalo Grove and currently resides in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing basketball, cooking, and enjoying time with friends and family.
